Different hardware packages and software configurations have been designed for private land, public events, industrial sites, airports, transportation hubs and other types of critical infrastructure.
Initial detection of airborne objects is performed using a variety of audio and video sensors, as well as laser scanning and analysis of radio frequencies, combining the strengths of the equipment and ensuring round-the-clock operation of the system in various weather conditions.
Kaspersky Antidrone uses machine learning and neural networks for instant classification of detected targets, identifying the drone type and model. Data is displayed on the user interface, where the system signals any unauthorized flights and offers a choice of countermeasures based on an assessment of the characteristics and potential threat posed by each target.
Kaspersky Antidrone uses several complementary methods to combat UAVs. The system relays a control signal to the hardware neutralization module when a threat arises, and displays the situation in real time in the graphical user interface. A customer will need to obtain permission to use certain neutralization methods.
Kaspersky Antidrone identifies and classifies all UAV types including custom-built ones.
Kaspersky Antidrone is designed for civilian use. It is illegal for civilians to hijack drones.
The detection and classification sensors used in Kaspersky Antidrone do not affect surrounding infrastructure, but a solution that includes neutralization devices may impact Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks.
